Senait D. Senay

Senait D. Senay, PhD, is a researcher and adjunct assistant professor specializing in biosecurity and ecoinformatics at the University of Minnesota, USA. Her expertise lies in modeling and predicting risks associated with both slow and rapid onset natural and man-made disasters. Dr. Senay has previously collaborated with various UN agencies and is deeply committed to human rights advocacy. She is the director and co-founder of Genocide Prevention in Ethiopia (GPE), a volunteer-based NGO dedicated to raising awareness about the ongoing genocide against Amharas and other ethnic-based atrocities in Ethiopia.
